Samra Origins is a specialty coffee brand and collaborative line created by Abel “The Weeknd” Tesfaye in partnership with Nespresso. It celebrates Ethiopian culture and coffee excellence, and pays homage to his mother, Samra.

Bringing the collaboration to life included supporting an in-person experience, “The Samra Vinyl Café” in the SoHo flagship boutique, which invited people to taste the limited-edition coffees while listening to music curated by The Weeknd. Print and visual assets were created for both the event and promotion on social media channels. Drawing from the intersection between coffee and music, the design involved radial elements and sensorial clips.
